Alex Bogdan

Alex Bogdan is a Romanian film and theatre actor. He was born on January 24, 1986 in Targu Ocna, Romania. He graduated from Hyperion University, Faculty of Arts, Theater and Film in 2008. In 2017, he plays first role in the movie Ana, mon amour. Other notable roles in 5Gang (2019) and I Do Not Care If We Go Down in History as Barbarians (2018). Play on the stage of the theater “Mic” in Bucuresti.

Alex Bogdan struggled with gambling addiction for 15 years. His own experience inspired the one-man show Viață în lucru, in which he uses humor, honesty and vulnerability to explore how deeply addiction can pull a person down, how it can reshape their relationship with money, their own life and their choices, and what it takes to finally set out on the path toward change.
