Szabó Norton Olivér
About the speaker
Olivér Norton Szabó is a PhD student at ELTE, his research area is the discovery of near-Earth asteroids and planetary defense. For nearly a decade, he has been traveling the Carpathian Basin with the aim of making the world of physics and astronomy understandable, exciting, and tangible for as many young people as possible.
At MindFormers, he holds an interactive physics workshop where students can discover phenomena encountered on distant celestial bodies in the Solar System by experimenting with extremely cold dry ice. Through the experiments, they can get closer to the Martian polar caps, the formation of comet tails, and the world of cryovolcanoes operating on the icy moons of giant planets.
