Relationships, gossip, new beginnings

👀 Whether we admit it or not, most of us enjoy hearing a good piece of gossip. Zsuzsa Szvetelszky, social psychologist, associate professor, corporate communication expert, and gossip researcher, has written an entire book about the phenomenon—which makes her work all the more worth discovering.

💡 At MindFormers, she will explore three defining aspects of our everyday relationships: building connections, the role of informal communication—gossip—and the psychology of starting over. She presents the findings of social psychology research in an accessible way, using personal stories and practical examples. Along the way, she examines how trust is formed, how spoken and unspoken stories shape our communities, and which factors help individuals and communities begin again after experiencing loss.

🗣️ If you are curious about what truly drives human relationships, this is a talk worth adding to your calendar.
