
Bagdy Emőke
Prof. Dr. Emőke Bagdy is a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, supervisor, university professor, candidate of psychological sciences, and one of the most renowned figures in Hungarian psychology. She is a recognized representative of dream-analysis-based dynamic brief psychotherapy (DREAM), as well as imaginative and meditative methods. In addition, she is a health psychologist and a trainer in relaxation and symbol therapy.
Throughout a career spanning more than five decades, she has focused on research in clinical psychology, mental health, stress management, personality development, and family relationships. Her work centers on understanding the human mind, preserving mental well-being, and exploring psychological responses to the challenges of everyday life.
As a dedicated psychologist, psychotherapist, and educator, she has delivered more than 2,500 lectures at scientific forums, professional training programs, and public educational events in both Hungarian and other languages. She is the author of numerous professional books, scientific publications, and acclaimed lectures, while her efforts to popularize psychology have brought the topics of self-awareness and mental health closer to generations of readers and audiences.
