Amateur astronomer Imre Nagy invites you on a fascinating journey through some of the most exciting mysteries of the universe. His presentation will reveal the extreme conditions found in space, the possible fate of the Milky Way, and how scientists are searching for answers to some of humanity’s greatest questions.

The Cassini presentation titled Monsters of the Universe demonstrates that astronomy is far from being a distant and abstract science. It reveals surprising discoveries and connections that place our understanding of the world in a new perspective while offering scientifically grounded yet accessible answers to the questions that fascinate many of us.

In 2022–2023, Imre Nagy was a member of the Hungarian team for the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics. He is the former president of the Bolyai Astronomical Association and is currently the host and owner of the Cassini Podcast, moderator of the Tűzfal podcast, and co-founder and director of Cassini 4 Education.

His passion is to present the most fascinating secrets of space in a vivid, accessible, and memorable way for everyone.
