Hunor Vass is a sports instructor, karate coach, and the founding president of the Sport-All Sports Club in Sfântu Gheorghe, as well as a coach at MTK Budapest. A graduate in physical education and geography, he is a multiple-time Romanian and Hungarian national champion, and a World and European champion in his karate style. He ended his competitive career in 2012 and has since focused on coaching, education, and building strong sport communities.

Born in Sfântu Gheorghe into a sports-oriented family—his father was a boxer and his mother was involved in athletics and handball—he began practicing karate in 1996 at the Master Karate Club. He studied in Nyíregyháza and at the University of Physical Education in Budapest.

Since 2009, he has been active as a coach. In 2012, together with his wife, he founded the Sport-All Sports Club, which has become one of the region’s most dynamic multi-sport communities, offering not just karate but also skiing, dance, and horseback riding. Hundreds of children have discovered the joy of sports through his mentorship.

His major projects include the Napsugár Camp, a summer adventure camp running for over 15 years, and weekly youth trainings at the Sepsi Arena. Since 2017, he has also coached at MTK Budapest. As a canoe trip guide and ski instructor, he organizes outdoor activities close to nature.

Deeply committed to culture and value-based education, his sessions often incorporate poetry, maps, and meaningful stories. He is passionate about nature, mountain adventures, and sauna culture—holding an official sauna master certification. He is married and the father of two children.
